Haylen is doing great and Luke is developing well. He has IV out and is on minimal air. He will remain in the NICU until he can 1) eat without an NG tube, 2) Breathe without assistance (now on so called 'nasal canula' - 30% oxygen - 21% oxygen is the air we breathe), 3) keep a stable temperature within an open crib.

Haylen is officially discharged, but 'nesting' at the hospital full time while she pumps milk that has already allowed Luke to grow 20 grams today. She is in love and he is precious. Both Mom and Dad spent kagaroo time 'skin on skin' with Luke James and he was very content. Amazing process having a child.

Just a quickie so you know we're all watching! Glad to hear he's doing well and I'm amazed you have milk so fast!! Happy to hear his progress and that you're getting a chance to get good and snuggly. Enjoy these moments, they go too quickly. And please take this advise -- GET SOME SLEEP while he's in the hospital!!!! Stock up on those ZZZs. Love ya. Aimee, et. all
