I've heard it a bunch, "you blink and they grow up so fast". Nice to get a smile from our boy. He is developing a personality and it seems that he is storing nuts in his cheeks for the winter. Practical little guy!
We are enjoying the time with John's Mother and Father, who came out to celebrate Thanksgiving with us. John's Mother, who all the kids call Dee-Dee, is in love with Luke and has been kind enough to take him the last few nights so the tired and sick parents can sleep!
John's Father is proud, but is 'waiting for Luke to gel', as he says. Little Big John and Big John played golf at a nice course in AZ.
Luke is over 9 lbs now and is fully on the growth chart! Less to no back arching after feeding thanks to some western medicine for reflux. Amazingly Luke sleeps for 5 hours at a stretch sometimes! (e.g. 12 am - 5 am). His father suspects a circadian rhythm is rearing its beautiful head and may wisk Luke off to sleep every night soon!
